I am so excited to go around the world with my family. I am also really nervous to be away from home for that long. We are leaving on June 18th 2023 and we'll return on July 11th, 2024. Here's where we're going: Ecuador, Galapagos, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Patagonia, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Bhutan, Nepal, Philippines, Taiwan, South Korea, and finally Japan!!

Packing!!

My mom is packing up the house so it kinda looks empty! We are packing because we are renting out our house unfurnished. While we're on our trip every one will be able to bring one stuffie and one blankie. I'm wondering if I should bring my American girl doll or not. I'm worried about loosing her but if she sleeps in my suit case the night before we leave for our next stop then she has a 5% chance of getting lost. So I think I'II bring her.

What I'II Miss of Home

When I'm away here are just some of the things I'II miss of home:

  1. Volleyball

  2. My house

  3. School (surprisingly!)

  4. My friends

  5. Playing piano

  6. My stuffies

  7. Every one else at school

  8. Everything in my house

  9. Paul and Q (my neighbors)

  10. Clean water

I hope you follow along on our journey and will be back for more!!

Thank you for sharing your blog with me! I don’t blame you for feeling a little nervous. Anyone would feel that way. It comes along with the excitement of trying something new. I know you will have the best time. I will miss you and I can’t wait to read about your journey. xoxo Eva

Ginny! Thank you for sharing so much about what you're thinking and feeling about this upcoming adventure! It's clear to me that you're feeling a lot of mixed emotions - and that's okay! It's also clear to me that you are a brave young lady to try things that are unfamiliar right now, and I look forward to following your journey. Love, Aunt Leah
