From seeing real dinosaur footprints to hiking the Inca trail, Sucre is sweet!!
On Sunday we hiked to the Maragua crater on the Inca trail. It started off quite foggy but then got hot and sunny. The Inca trail is a hike that is rocky, flat, and one side is just a plain o'll cliff. On the trail there are not that many trees, I didn't feel scared because there isn't really a way to fall off. Oh, I almost forgot!! Here's a guide for natural minerals we saw from the trail!! Green-Copper, Red-Iron, Black-Onyx. And all along the path are cow pies and donkey jellybeans. I felt strong and happy. I felt strong because we were hiking on a 600 year old path that the Incas hiked. I felt happy because Baker was my kitty, Mew-mew.
After the hike we had a picnic lunch and I met the cutest kitty ever 🥰. Then we hiked to a cemetery to see a view of the 'crater'. It's actually an ancient lake that is now empty.
Personally I was a little scared because it's a cemetery, what if ghosts start coming out?! Anyway it was worth the climb because it was a beautiful view. If you look close enough you can see all the minerals.
Next we hiked to the Garganta del Diablo. 😈's throat. We walked along a cliff then went in to a cave that had one side open. Inside there were teeth that were formed by water droplets. It was kinda scary because what if a earthquake happened and we fell down the cliff?
The next day we explored the Recoleta. It was old and cold and creepy, but I liked seeing all the kitties and the 1,000 year old ceadar tree.
In this pic we are hugging the tree. It's the oldest tree in Sucre!! After the Recoleta we went to Monky Churros. I ordered one plain and one chocolate. They tasted really yummy. Then we visited el Museo del Tesoro it was pretty boring except for the gift shop. Lulu got a piece of purple Amethyst, Baker got yellow Amber, and I got Bolivianita earrings!!!!!!!!!!!
Today we experienced Parque Cretácico. It's a park that has real dino footprints!!! Over time tectonic plates liffted the ground in to a wall that has 12,099 dinosaur footprints. It was really cool to see dinosaur footprints from so long ago.
Me and Lulu in front of the wall.

We are leaving Sucre soon!! I will miss every thing, even the loud motorcycles going by our apartment until 9 at night. We are going on a road trip for 2 weeks. I will write again soon!!
Love, Me (Ginny)
Did you get to keep any dinosaur bones?😜

Hi Ginny! Wow such cool experiences! I like hearing the Spanish you’re learning. What are these glasses you’re wearing? Are they new?? Be sure to point out your new earrings if they’re ever in a pic too - can only imagine how special they are. Yummm please eat a churro for Zuzu and me - tell your parents I said it was ok 😁 miss you so xoxoxoxo
