...seen SO MUCH of Australia! It's hard to believe but I will show you once you read my blog!

Moonlit Sanctuary

A few days into staying in Melbourne, Australia we went to the Moonlit Sanctuary. We bought wallaby food and hand fed them! My favorite animal I fed was a pademelon it was so cute and fluffy and soft and small. All of the best things combined together.

My favorite thing that we did there was pet a cute, fluffy KOALA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It felt like your hand was sinking into a pit of soft airy fur.

We went on a behind the scenes tour of the sanctuary! We got to touch a carpet python and Baker held it. My favorite part of the behind the scenes tour part was hand feeding squirrel gliders! They were so cute!

The sanctuary was so fun. If you ever go to Melbourne GO VISIT IT!

Lego Land 🧱

That's right, we went to Lego Land discovery center. We first each got a lego pack. I got a cat hospital. There was a huge lego city that had 4 gold lego mini figures but we only found 1. When you enter lego land you get a lanyard that's also a booklet. One of my favorite parts was a lego stop motion room. It reminded me of learning about lego stop motion with my awesome teacher Joey.

Me and Baker made a stop motion about a fish who finds his way home. My other favorite part was a ride where you have to shoot all the monsters. We did it 2 times. For our final thing we watched a 4d movie with monsters in it. My favorite part was when mommy kept yelling about them spraying monster spit on us.

Sealife aquarium

After lego land we went to the Sealife aquarium. It was so cool! We saw a huge crab and I want up a tube and got a close look.

You can see it where I'm pointing. It looks a lot like a rock but with pinchers. We also saw lots of jellyfish. We didn't see any box jellys though. Box jellys are the universe's smallest but deadliest jellyfish. It can kill a human in 20 seconds! The final animal we saw was Lu's fave PENGUINS!!!!!!!!! She was so happy and we also saw an egg!

These are king penguins by the way.

The Universe's BEST Climbing Gym!

On Christmas Eve we went to a climbing gym that had so many things to climb. You just had to clip in with your harness and it was an automatic belay! My favorite climb was a stack of wonky boxes.

There was a koala jump where you climbed up onto a platform and then jumped out and grabbed onto a yellow tube. It was AWESOME!

I love climbing and I miss my climbing wall at home so going to the climbing gym was really fun. When I climb I feel strong and I feel like I can do anything!

Sydney Harbor Bridge Climb with Dada

We arrived in Sydney and me and Dada went right to the bridge while Mama and the kids went to Bondi. First we had sushi dinner and saw flying foxes! They are not bats, but they have a huge dark orange wings and fly around at dawn and dusk.

After dinner we went to climb the bridge. We put on harnesses, onesies, and headsets. We walked up stairs to get to the tippy top of the bridge at blinking bob. Blinking bob is a red blinking light at the top to tell planes not to crash into it. Seeing Sydney at night was so cool. Sometimes I wondered if Mama was looking out the window and waving. And there were fireworks that we would see far away from the bridge.

Off to K'Gari Island!

After being in Sydney for a week we went to K'Gari island. It is an all sand island and it is known for all the wild dingoes. We took a ferry there. I really liked it there because I got to go a lot of junior eco ranger events and there was a pool we play in a lot. We looked for dingoes but didn't see any! But my new friend Grace saw SEVEN dingoes. We only saw dingo footprints, which Ranger Rachel said was very cool!

The Great Barrier Reef

We are now in Cairns and we boated to the GREAT BARRIER REEF! I snorkeled a mega ton.

When I put my face in the water my nose hurt but I kept going because I knew it was my only chance to see the reef. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. The coral came in all different shapes, sizes, and colors. My favorite coral is the brain coral because it is so different from the others. I also saw giant clams! They are about the size of Lulu and you can't touch them in case they shut on your hand. After snorkeling I laid on the net on the front of the boat.

Happy new year to all my readers! We are off to Asia and will start in Bali!

SEE YA!!!!!!!!! GINNY!!!!!!!!
