Flying in to Brazil (literally, literally)

Hi friends! I went skydiving without jumping out of a plane, can you believe it?

Last Friday we flew from Buenos Aries to Sao Paulo, Brazil. All through the plane ride I watched Silvester and Tweety mysteries on Latam airlines. If you like animals and Saturday cartoons I totally recommend it. Our apartment here is tiny but cosy and I also get my own room. Even though it is tiny I still love it! I haven't had my own room since Pisac in Peru.

The next day we went to Ibira Puera park. It is a giant beautiful park with lots of trees and grass. There we rented bikes, rode around, and played at the world's biggest playground. I turned the playground into an obstical course for my bike. I rode over a dirt hump on top of a tube that you could crawl through. My favorite part of the park was when we rode through a bamboo tunnel. I liked it because the bamboo made itself in to a natural arch.

If you ever have a month long vacation, I recommend that you go to São Paulo in Brazil. The food is clean and delicious and it is very green for a city. It feels a lot like Seattle with tall skyscrapers but also lots of big gorgeous parks.

The next morning we took an Uber to the zoo. The zoo was not your ordinary zoo. It had animals and every thing but there were bounce houses and a really cool Dino Mundo area that had an obstacle course where you could go above the Dinos. I was not scared because I love heights.

My favorite part other than Dino Mundo was when we saw a fox getting its belly rubbed while getting its checkup. I think that it is cute because the little fox was just like a puppy with its owner/zookeper.

Soon enough, yes it was time to go indoor skydiving at iFly. It is a place that has a giant wind tunnel taller than the building. You can float in the wind tunnel because there is so much wind blowing up. First we just floated in mid air.

In this photo I kind of look like super woman! Before getting into the wind tunnel I could see that it was windy because of the way the instructor's suit was waving. The tunnel was really really loud, almost as loud as Baker's loudest scream. I had earplugs in, plus a helmet, plus goggles, so I couldn't hear mommy and daddy cheering for me. When I got in, it felt like nothing I have ever felt before. It was cold and windy and the wind lifted me so I didn't fall onto the net. The wind was trying to make my arms and legs flop, but thank goodness I have strong arms and legs from swimming so I could keep my legs and arms straight!

Then we got to spiral up and down in the wind tunnel and mommy felt like she was gonna puke🤢, but Daddy had fun!!

It was super fun, and I was 0% scared. If you ever go skydiving you should hold your body still and straight, be calm, and do what the instructor tells you to do.

So far São Paulo is amaaaaaaazing! We are here for three more days then we move onto Rio!

I miss ALL OF YOU! Love Gin bug a roo

Wonderful adventures. Was the world's biggest playground for, like, giant people? People that are 26 feet tall? If so, was the water fountain like a really tall fire hydrant? Did the indoor skydiving experience make you want to try outdoor skydiving when you get older? I did it once and loved it. Have a blast in Rio! - Uncle Kelly
