Bolivia es linda!

What does climbing a Devil's molar, riding ATVs, and playing at a gigantic playground have in common? They all are things we have done in Bolivia!

Last Friday we climbed the Devil's molar. It is a big rock we could see from the camp where we were staying. Part of it was fun and part of not so much. The part that was not fun was the hike to the rock because it was hot and all uphill. The part that was fun was climbing up the rock. There was lots of scree and big rocks to hold onto so you didn't fall. I was scared I might fall off. It was windy and cold at the top and I thought my cheeks would fall off because I lost my buff. I was glad we climbed it because the view was awesome!

After that we went to dinner at a place called Carrot Tree cafe in La Paz. We had to do mom school while we waited for our food.

The food was yummy because I ordered a chicken, cheese, and broccoli quesadilla! The restaurant was in the witches market. The witches market was beautiful except for the people selling dead baby llamas. There were umbrellas above us which I didn't understand because it wasn't raining!

The next day we rode ATVs!!! It was really because I got to drive my own. It was hard at first but I got the hang of it. Mine got stuck a couple times but it was still fun!!!

On Sunday we arrived in Sucre!! We are staying in an apartment in the middle of town. All the walls on the buildings are white here. It is fun staying in an apartment because we get to walk everywhere and get our exercise in. We walked to a big playground called Simon Bolivar park. Me and daddy and Baker went down a huge orange slide shaped like a Brachiosaurus. It was so fun!!

The playground was huge and had a lot of kids there but it was still a great playground. We also walked to a toy store. We each got one big toy and one little toy. For my little toy I got a shiny pink hotweel and for my big toy I got a Barbie! it is my first Barbie. Mommy said I could have it because it's not as bad at the ones in the US.

I love Sucre! I miss you all soooooo much and hope you are having a great summer!
